Power Play

Power Play allows players a multiplier option for an extra $1 per play, and if you win one of the non-jackpot Powerball prizes, your prize will be multiplied by the Power Play multiplier number drawn for that drawing. Power Play multipliers include 2x, 3x, 4x and 5x.

5+0 Multiplier with Power Play

The Match 5 prize (5 of 5 + 0 Powerball) with Power Play option will always be $1 million. Note that any set of prizes or Power Play prizes, including the Match 5+0 prize, may be reduced if wins exceed the available prize fund.

Match 5 Bonus

The Match 5 Bonus is available when the Powerball jackpot is at a record amount and can be incremented by only $25 million. The excess prize money is placed in a pool and can be won when there is a jackpot winner. The pool is split among any players who have five matching numbers but not the Powerball.

Current Play

What the retailer sells unless the player requests otherwise: the wager is about the outcome of the next draw (also called the "current" draw) in the game.

Multiple Draws

The Multi-Draw option enables the player to purchase tickets for multiple drawings. The player may purchase Powerball tickets for the next draw, or for the next draw and nine more consecutive draws for a total of ten draws.

The number of draws will default to 1 (current draw).

Advance Play

Advance play is the ability to skip one or more draws and purchase a ticket for a future draw. Powerball wagers will not support Advance play wagers.
