JD Finch is planning to cross a few trips off his bucket list in 2016.

The Dayton man will soon be packing his bags, after winning $50,000 playing "Lots of Letters" Scratch from Washington's Lottery! Finch told Lottery officials he stopped by The General Store (426 W Main St, Dayton, WA 99328) with five extra dollars in his pocket and decided to pick up a Scratch ticket. When he scratched the ticket and saw he was a big winner, Finch called his mother to tell her the exciting news. He jokingly told Lottery officials he thought he had given her a heart attack when he told her how much he'd won.

2/2/2016 - SPOKANE LOTTERY PLAYER WINS $75,000, HAS HIS EYE ON A TWO-DOOR REFRIDGERATOR/FREEZER

A longtime Spokane resident won $75,000 playing a $5 "Golden Riches" Scratch ticket he purchased at a local Super C (1809 N Ash St, Spokane, WA 99205).

The man, a retiree, works as a crossing guard for a local elementary school. He told Lottery officials he loves working with the kids, and joked that he thinks he's a favorite guard because every student knows his name.
