HIT IT ON THE DOT WITH “LOTTO ON THE SPOT” THIS JUNE

Washingtonians can win $50 instantly with return of Lotto promotion

OLYMPIA: Washington’s Lottery today announced that its popular “Lotto on the Spot” promotion will return for the seventh consecutive year on Sunday, June 3, 2012. The limited-time offer takes place at all of the more than 3,700 Lottery retailers across Washington and awards multiple winners every day.

The promotion is as simple as it sounds – all prizes are available on the spot! All players have to do to participate is purchase $5 of Lotto tickets for a chance to win $50 instantly. The game runs from June 3 to June 23, 2012, and all prizes need to be claimed by June 30.

Feeling lucky? Last year Lotto on the Spot had more than 7,000 winners and totaled more than $350,000 in prizes.

“Since 2006, Lotto on the Spot has offered a fun and easy way for Washingtonians to play and win instantly,” said Arlen Harris, Communications Director for Washington’s Lottery. “Our players love the excitement of this game, and we’re thrilled to bring it back for another year.”
