WASHINGTON’S LOTTERY AND THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS PREPARE TO LAUNCH SECOND ANNUAL VETERANS RAFFLE
Launching this Sunday, the Veterans
will offer the best chance at winning $1 million and will support important programs for Washington veterans
This Veterans Day, Washington's Lottery and the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) will officially launch the second annual Veterans
to support veterans across the state. The $10 raffle ticket gives players the best chance to win $1 million among all current Washington's Lottery games. Every ticket sold benefits the WDVA's Veterans Innovations Program (VIP) which provides crisis and emergency relief, as well as education, training, and employment assistance for Washington veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
In addition to the top prize of $1 million, there will be drawings for 30 $1,000 prizes and 100, $100 prizes. Tickets will go on sale this Sunday, November 11 and will be sold through January 1, 2013. The drawings for all 131 prizes will be held on January 2, 2013. There are a limited number of tickets available – and the best odds of winning a $1 million right now– so players need to purchase tickets now before they're gone!
