Lucky Strike! Washington's Lottery Announces Luckiest Stores in Central Washington

Albertson’s and Safeway Top the List

With St. Patrick's Day approaching, Washington's Lottery is helping The Evergreen State find the end of the rainbow. Each year Washington’s Lottery announces its "Luckiest Stores"–the retail locations that have sold the most tickets worth prizes over $1,000 in 2012 - for six regions around the state: Central Washington, Puget Sound, Olympic Peninsula, Eastern Washington, Southwest Washington, and Tri-Cities.

The Albertson's at 1128 North Miller Street in Wenatchee is the "Luckiest Store" in the Central Washington with 10 big wins.

Rosauer's Food and Drug at 410 South 72nd Avenue in Yakima is a regular to the Top 10 list. This year they are tied for 3rd place with 6 big wins. "We're always happy that people come in to buy Lottery tickets and are always welcoming to winners. Customers have easy-access to Scratch tickets and my team is committed to servicing people quickly," said Kris Abhold, Store Manager. "We’re going for 1st place next year!"

  • 7 Big Wins: Safeway at 804 West 1st Street in Cleelum
  • 7 Big Wins: Safeway at 2204 West Nob Hill Boulevard in Yakima
  • 6 Big Wins: Rosauer’s Food and Drug at 410 South 72nd Avenue in Yakima
  • 6 Big Wins: Circle K at 640 North Stratford Road in Moses Lake
  • 6 Big Wins: Safeway at 711 West 1st Avenue in Toppenish
  • 6 Big Wins: Safeway at 510 Grant Road in East Wenatchee
  • 6 Big Wins: Fred Meyer at 201 South Water Street in Ellensburg
  • 5 Big Wins: Safeway Store at 205 North 5th Avenue in Yakima
  • 5 Big Wins: Safeway at 106 West Manson Highway in Chelan
