Lucky Strike! Washington's Lottery Announces Luckiest Stores in Eastern Washington

Yoke's Foods and Fred Meyer Top the List

OLYMPIA:
With St. Patrick's Day approaching, Washington's Lottery is helping The Evergreen State find the end of the rainbow. Each year Washington’s Lottery announces its "Luckiest Stores"–the retail locations that have sold the most tickets worth prizes over $1,000 in 2012 - for six regions around the state: Eastern Washington, Puget Sound, Olympic Peninsula, Southwest Washington, Tri-Cities, and Central Washington.

Yoke's Foods at 210 East North Foothills Drive in Spokane is the "Luckiest Store" in the Eastern Washington area with 8 big wins.

Whitty's Southtown Exxon at 855 South Main Street in Colville is new to the list this year tied for 3rd place with 6 big wins. "Just last month a woman won $1,000 on a Scratch ticket. She originally thought she only won $50, so she was pretty excited," said Store Manager Christina Wellington. "We sell a lot of tickets here, and I think it’s awesome that we made the list."
