Lucky Strike! Washington's Lottery Announces Luckiest Stores in Southwest Washington

Fred Meyer and Village Pantry Top the List

OLYMPIA:
With St. Patrick's Day approaching, Washington's Lottery is helping The Evergreen State find the end of the rainbow. Each year Washington’s Lottery announces its "Luckiest Stores"–the retail locations that have sold the most tickets worth prizes over $1,000 in 2012 - for six regions around the state: Puget Sound, Olympic Peninsula, Eastern Washington, Southwest Washington, Tri-Cities, and Central Washington.

The Fred Meyer at 16600 Southeast McGillivray Boulevard in Vancouver is the "Luckiest Store" in the Southwest Washington area with 9 big wins.

Lyle's Village Pantry at 10709 NE Highway 99 in Vancouver is new to the list this year. The store tied for 4th place with 5 big wins. "The last big win at our store was in November. A person won $20,000 from a Scratch ticket," said Jackie Johnson, Store Manager. "I think it's nice that we're on the list. We sell out of Scratch tickets often here, and I’m always ordering more!"
