Lucky Strike! Washington's Lottery Announces Luckiest Stores in Central Washington

Moxee's and Fred Meyer Top the List

OLYMPIA: With St. Patrick's Day around the corner, Washington's Lottery announced its annual list of "Luckiest Stores" – retail locations that sold the most winning tickets worth $1,000 or more in the previous year. Lottery officials identified the "Luckiest Stores" in six regions around the state, including Tri-Cities, Puget Sound, Olympic Peninsula, Eastern Washington, Southwest Washington, and Central Washington.

Moxee Market at 105 South Iler Street in Moxee is the "Luckiest Store" in the Central Washington region with 10 big wins. On holding the top spot, the store's owner, Yang Cho, said it's his team's excellent customer service that makes the customers keep coming back.

The top 10 "Luckiest Stores" in Central Washington are:

  • 10 Big wins: Moxee Market at 105 South Iler Street in Moxee
  • 8 Big Wins: Fred Meyer at 11 Grant Road in East Wenatchee
  • 6 Big Wins: Safeway at 601 Pioneer Way in Moses Lake
  • 5 Big Wins: Rosauer's Food and Drug at 410 South 72nd Avenue in Yakima
  • 4 Big Wins: Safeway at 5702 Summitview Avenue in Yakima
  • 4 Big Wins: North Avenue Market at 1816 North Wenatchee Avenue in Wenatchee
  • 4 Big Wins: Center 76 at 302 Basin Street Southwest in Ephrata
  • 4 Big Wins: Circle K at 204 South Main Street in Ellensburg
  • 4 Big Wins: Circle K at 1405 North Wentatchee Avenue in Wenatchee
  • 4 Big Wins: AM PM 1601 West Washington Avenue in Yakima
