A man from Mukilteo is planning a vacation to Alaska after a trip to a local Shell (10900 Mukilteo Speedway, Mukilteo, WA 98275) led to a $200,000 Hit 5 win.
“I was waiting in the car when my wife ran into the store to check the ticket,” said the man. “She saw all the zeros and thought we won $20,000, but then realized it was $200,000. It’s still hard to imagine!”
After a celebratory lobster dinner, the couple plans to use their prize money on a cruise to Alaska. “We’ve been several times, but we’re looking forward to walking down the streets again,” said the man. “We’ve also always wanted to visit Sitka, so now is the perfect time to do it.”
The winners also told Washington’s Lottery officials they’re looking forward to purchasing a new SUV.
