BUCKLEY WOMAN GOES ON WORK BREAK, RETURNS $70,000 RICHER

A Buckley woman went from lunch break to car shopping after she won $70,000 playing “Wild 7s” Scratch. The winner purchased her ticket from the local Burnett Store (14204 WA-165, Buckley, WA 98321).

“This is beyond my wildest dreams,” said the winner. “I’ve really been wanting a new car, but didn’t want to look because I knew it wasn’t going to happen any time soon. This win puts a new car in sight!”

The winner told Washington’s Lottery officials she won’t be the only family member reaping the automobile benefits from her recent Scratch win. She plans to help her sons fix up their cars as well.

Proceeds from Washington’s Lottery benefit the Washington Opportunity Pathways Account, providing grants to college students statewide. To learn more about Washington’s Lottery, its beneficiaries and to review all up-to-date winning numbers, please visit www.walottery.com.
