AUBURN COUPLE SCRATCHES THEIR WAY TO NEW MOBILE HOME

An Auburn woman is celebrating a $50,000 lottery win after playing “$50,000 Crossword Extra Play” Scratch. She purchased the ticket from the local AM/PM in Auburn (27 15th Street NE).

The winner told Lottery officials that she and her boyfriend play Scratch often and this time she let her boyfriend do the scratching on her ticket. When he told her that she had won, she said she didn’t believe him and thought he was kidding around with her like he normally does.

The winner plans to use her prize to buy herself a brand new mobile home.

Proceeds from Washington’s Lottery benefit the Washington Opportunity Pathways Account, providing grants to college students statewide. To learn more about Washington’s Lottery, its beneficiaries and to review all up-to-date winning numbers, please visit www.walottery.com.
