KENT MAN IS MAKING A MOVE AFTER $200,000 LOTTERY WIN

Thanks to a recent $200,000Big Money” Scratch win, a Kent man is celebrating his way to a new home. The man purchased the winning Scratch ticket from a Shell gas station in Kent (23953 104th Ave SE).

“When I first realized I won, I was on a call for work so it didn’t really sink in until later,” shared the winner. “After scratching, I had to look at the numbers a couple times before it clicked that I had just won $200,000.”

The first person he called was his older brother, who thought he was just trying to play a practical joke. The winner also told Washington’s Lottery officials that this is not his first time playing the lottery, but it is his first time winning big.

The winner plans to use the money to rent a newer home. After that, the winner will pay bills and invest in one of his all-time favorite cars, a black or red Corvette.

Proceeds from Washington’s Lottery benefit the Washington Opportunity Pathways Account, providing grants to college students statewide. To learn more about Washington’s Lottery, its beneficiaries and to review all up-to-date winning numbers, please visit www.walottery.com.
