KENT MAN PLANS TO TRAVEL ACROSS THE COUNTRY WITH $70,000 LOTTERY WIN

A man from Kent is ready to travel throughout the United States after winning $70,000 playing “For the Love of 7” Scratch. The winner purchased his ticket from his local AM PM (10402 SE 256th St, Kent, WA 98030).

“I went in to purchase a ticket and the ‘For the Love of 7’ game caught my eye,” said the winner. “When I got home to scratch my ticket and saw I won, I had my wife double-check to make sure I wasn’t misreading things.”

The winner told Washington’s Lottery officials he hasn’t had much time to think about exactly what he plans to do with his prize money, but he knows he’ll schedule some trips across the country, specifically to states along the coast because he enjoys the water. He also said he’s going to use the money to pay off some bills and take his wife to a celebratory dinner.

Proceeds from Washington’s Lottery benefit the Washington Opportunity Pathways Account, providing grants to college students statewide. To learn more about Washington’s Lottery, its beneficiaries and to review all up-to-date winning numbers, please visit www.walottery.com.
