TRI-CITIES LOTTERY WINNERS PLANNING HAWAIIAN VACATION TO CELEBRATE RETIREMENT

Celesta Langlo and her husband will soon be packing their bags and saying “Aloha” to the Tri-Cities as they fly to Hawaii to celebrate her recent retirement and Lottery win.

On Wednesday, Sept. 28, Langlo won $100,000 playing Hit 5. She purchased her ticket two days prior from Safeway in Kennewick (Highlands Center, 2825 W Kennewick Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336).

“I’ve never been to Hawaii but my husband and I planned to go eventually, so winning this money just gives us the opportunity to travel there sooner!” Langlo said. “This win gives us a chance to make more plans for the future and carry out current plans earlier. We’re very excited!”

Langlo also told Lottery officials she’ll be paying off her husband’s truck and a new car might be in her future, too.

Proceeds from Washington’s Lottery benefit the Washington Opportunity Pathways Account, providing grants to college students statewide. To learn more about Washington’s Lottery, its beneficiaries and to review all up-to-date winning numbers, please visit www.walottery.com.
