GROCERY SHOPPING TRIP LEADS TO CAR SHOPPING TRIP FOR LOTTERY WINNER

Renton resident, Julie Osgoodby, found herself $50,000 wealthier after a quick trip to the grocery store resulted in a “Money Money Money” Scratch win. She purchased the winning ticket from QFC in Renton (4800 NE 4th St).

“This win comes at a perfect time for me,” shared Osgoodby with Lottery officials.  “My car has been leaking oil, now I can get my dream car. I have been looking at the Dodge Journey for three years, and now I can finally afford it.”

She told her 17-year-old son of her win first. As for his response, Osgoodby said, “my son is trying to figure out how to spend the money for me. He wants me to get my new car, then get him a new car!”

Osgoodby plans to go to a nice dinner with her family to celebrate, then visit car dealerships.
