Store sold the most tickets in Washington worth $1,000 or more sold in 2024
Olympia, WA (March 10, 2025) – As St. Patrick’s Day approaches, luck is on everyone’s mind, which is why Washington’s Lottery just announced its Luckiest Retailers of 2024 for the state’s North and South Puget Sound regions. These retailers sold the most winning tickets valued at $1,000 or more.
The South Puget Sound region has been named the Luckiest Region in the state for the seventh year in a row with the top 10 retailers totaling 151 wins. Located in that region, the Fred Meyer at 801 Auburn Way N in Auburn is officially the Luckiest Retailer in the state with 20 wins of $1,000 or more.
The top 10 Luckiest Retailers in the South Puget Sound region are:
- 20 Wins: Fred Meyer at 801 Auburn Way N in Auburn
- Rose from 4th place with 14 wins in 2023
- Sold $754.6 million winning Powerball jackpot ticket in 2023
- 19 Wins: Fred Meyer at 365 Renton Center Way SW in Renton
- Rose from 7th place with 13 wins in 2023
- 3rd year in a row on the Top 10 list
- 16 Wins: Muckleshoot Casino Resort at 2402 Auburn Way S in Auburn
- Rose from 4th place with 14 wins in 2023
- 16 Wins: Fred Meyer at 14300 1st Avenue S in Burien
- 15 Wins: Safeway at 708 Shaw Road in Puyallup
- 14 Wins: Fred Meyer at 1100 N Meridian Avenue in Puyallup
- Rose from 10th place with 12 wins in 2023
- 13 Wins: Fred Meyer at 33702 21st Avenue SW in Federal Way
- Tied for 2nd place in 2023 with 15 wins
- 13 Wins: Fred Meyer at 555 Trosper Road SW in Tumwater
- 13 Wins: Safeway at 1207 S 320th Street in Federal Way
- 12 Wins: Safeway at 900 Meridian Avenue E in Milton
The North Puget Sound region also had a lucky year with 92 wins of $1,000 or more, securing itself as the second luckiest region in Washington. The Safeway at 7601 Evergreen Way in Everett took the region’s top spot with 13 wins.

WSAC leads a variety of initiatives to increase educational opportunities for students, families, and educators across the state, with a particular focus on increasing equity by reaching communities of color and students from low-income families. The Lottery also proudly supports the state’s Early Childhood Education & Assistance Program (ECEAP), a state-funded pre-K program that helps children become kindergarten-ready by building early skills in reading, math and science.
