Washington’s Lottery Teams Up With Seattle Mariners On New Scratch Ticket, Giving Fans A Chance To Win $50k, A Vip Trip To Spring Training And More

Non-winning tickets can be mailed in for two second-chance drawings for VIP trip to Peoria, Mariners 2025 game packages, and team merchandise

Olympia, WA (March 20, 2025) – Batter up! Washington’s Lottery and the Seattle Mariners are teaming up for the first time on a new Scratch ticket to give baseball fans a deep lineup of prizes. It’s sure to be a home run when tickets go on sale March 24.

With more than $4 million in total prizes available in the game and the chance to win up to $50,000 instantly on a single ticket, as well as the option to mail in non-winning tickets for a change to win additional Mariners prizes – including the grand prize of a VIP trip to Mariners Spring Training in 2026 with first class airfare, a four-night hotel stay, tickets to three Spring Training games, $1,500 spending cash and much more – this Mariners Scratch ticket is a serious five-tool player.

“When the opportunity to work with the Mariners came up, we knew we had to hit it out of the park,” said Joshua Johnston, Director of Washington’s Lottery. “We wanted to create a Scratch game that would get fans excited, engaged and give them a chance to experience Mariners baseball in a whole new way. We think this game is right in the wheelhouse for both lottery fans and M’s fans and we can’t wait for people to play.”

To play Seattle Mariners Scratch, players match any of the “your numbers” shown on their ticket to any of the “winning numbers” printed on the ticket and then win the prize shown for that number. If they reveal a home plate symbol, they win that prize instantly. A baseball cap symbol doubles the prize shown, and a baseball bat symbol wins the player $50 instantly.

Seattle Mariners Scratch tickets cost $5 each and players have the green light to purchase them through authorized Washington Lottery retailers starting March 24. In addition to the instant cash prizes, the Seattle Mariners Scratch game features two second-chance mail-in drawings where players can win various prizes, including 2025 Mariners game packages, gift cards, and more. The two second-chance drawings will take place on the following dates:
