Oversized Holiday Countdown Calendar Ticket With 25 Ways To Win Headlines New Holiday Scratch Lineup From Washington’s Lottery

Peppermint-scented ticket adds an extra touch of cheer to this year’s festive collection, which is debuting at retailers across the state this month

Olympia, WA (October 15, 2025) – Washington’s Lottery today announced the launch of four new holiday-themed Scratch games worth more than $15 million in total prizes that are being loaded into retailers’ display cases and Lottery vending machines across the state this week.

Headlining the new set of tickets is 25 Days of Winning, a folded ticket whose glued edges can be popped open to reveal the full 8”x8” oversized holiday countdown calendar Scratch game. There are 25 different play areas, each representing a day of the month, with each day played as its own separate way to win. For the first 24 days, revealing two identical numbers on the same day means you win the prize for that day. On day 25, matching any of your numbers to any of the holiday numbers on the ticket means you win the prize shown for that number. The $10 ticket offers a top prize of $250,000 and more than $7.6 million in total prizes.

If that wasn’t enough fun, then Peppermint Bark 7s, a $5 Scratch game that features a peppermint-scented ticket with a loveable holiday hat-wearing dog – and more than 1,500 prizes of $500 – will be sure to get your tail wagging.

The two other holiday Scratch games include a $2 Snow Much Fun ticket with a top prize of $20,000, and a $1 Holly Day Cash ticket with a top prize of $2,000. All four new Scratch games are available now at authorized lottery retailers across the state.

While many people enjoy gifting lottery tickets to their loved ones during the holiday season, Washington’s Lottery would like to remind everyone that Lottery tickets are not appropriate gifts for children and teens under the age of 18 during the holidays, or any time of year. Data provided by the National Council on Problem Gambling and Evergreen Council on Problem Gambling shows that children who experience their first gambling encounter early in life are at risk for problem gambling in later years.

Washington’s Lottery offers Scratch games priced between $1 and $30, each with varying prize amounts. The number of actual prizes available in a game may vary based on the number of tickets printed, tested, distributed, sold, and number of prizes claimed. Winning players have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize. Washington’s Lottery has regional offices located in Everett, Federal Way, Olympia, Spokane, Tri-Cities and Vancouver, which are open to the public to claim prizes Mon-Fri from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Winners with prizes of $100,000 or more are instructed to call the nearest Lottery office to schedule an appointment to make a safe and secure in-person claim.

Who Benefits
Since 1982, Washington’s Lottery has generated more than $5.3 billion to support several important state programs. The Lottery’s primary beneficiary is the Washington Opportunity Pathways Account (WOPA), which provides much-needed funding for programs including early childhood education, the Washington College Grant and College Bound program, Washington Award for Vocational Excellence, GET Ready for Math and Science scholarships, and more. These programs help provide critical services and support to thousands of Washington residents each year and help improve their lives.

Beneficiary Fact
Washington’s Lottery is proud to be a financial supporter of the Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC), which administers state financial aid programs. WSAC leads a variety of initiatives to increase educational opportunities for students, families, and educators across the state, with a particular focus on increasing equity by reaching communities of color and students from low-income families. The Lottery also proudly supports the state’s Early Childhood Education & Assistance Program (ECEAP), a state-funded pre-K program that helps children become kindergarten-ready by building early skills in reading, math and science. The program works closely with parents to support their children’s health and education.
