Five festive games arrive at retailers today, including a 25-day holiday countdown and top prizes up to a half-million dollars
Olympia, WA (October 19, 2026) – Washington’s Lottery is getting into the holiday spirit with five new holiday-themed Scratch games launching at retailers and Lottery Vending Machines across the state today.
Leading this year’s festive lineup is Warm Winter Wishes Tripler, a $5 Scratch game featuring hot chocolate-scented ink and a trio of snowmen bundled up for the season. The game offers 15 chances to win and a top prize of $50,000. Players also can reveal a special symbol to double or triple the prize shown.
For players who enjoy seeing the holidays get closer on the calendar each day, the $10 Holiday Countdown ticket features 25 chances to win, with each play area designed as its own wrapped present for days one through 25. The game offers a top prize of $250,000.
Rounding out the collection are Holiday Treasure, a $20 ticket with a top prize of $500,000 and more than $11 million in cash prizes; Mistle Toads, a $2 ticket featuring a top prize of $20,000; and White Elephant, a $1 ticket with a top prize of $2,000. All five holiday Scratch games are available now at authorized lottery retailers across the state.
While many people enjoy gifting lottery tickets to loved ones during the holiday season, Washington’s Lottery would like to remind everyone that Lottery tickets are not appropriate gifts for children and teens under the age of 18 during the holidays, or any time of year. Data provided by the National Council on Problem Gambling and Evergreen Council on Problem Gambling shows that children who experience their first gambling encounter early in life are at risk for problem gambling later in life.
Washington’s Lottery offers Scratch games priced between $1 and $30, each with varying prize amounts. The number of actual prizes available in a game may vary based on the number of tickets printed, tested, distributed, sold, and number of prizes claimed. Winning players have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize. Washington’s Lottery has regional offices located in Everett, Federal Way, Olympia, Spokane, Tri-Cities and Vancouver, which are open to the public to claim prizes Mon-Fri from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Winners with prizes of $100,000 or more are instructed to call the nearest Lottery office to schedule an appointment to make a safe and secure in-person claim.
Who Benefits
Since 1982, Washington’s Lottery has generated more than $5.7 billion to support several important state programs. The Lottery’s primary beneficiary is the Washington Opportunity Pathways Account (WOPA), which provides much-needed funding for programs including early childhood education, the WA Grant and College Bound program, Washington Award for Vocational Excellence, and more. These programs help provide critical services and support to thousands of Washington residents each year and help improve their lives.
Beneficiary Fact
Washington’s Lottery is proud to be a financial supporter of the Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC), which administers state financial aid programs. WSAC leads a variety of initiatives to increase educational opportunities for students, families, and educators across the state, with a particular focus on increasing equity by reaching communities of color and students from low-income families. The Lottery also proudly supports the state’s Early Childhood Education & Assistance Program (ECEAP), a state-funded pre-K program that helps children become kindergarten-ready by building early skills in reading, math and science. The program works closely with parents to support their children’s health and education.
