Eight big wins in August alone featured prizes ranging from $50,000 to $1 million
Olympia, Wash. (August 12, 2025) – As the Powerball jackpot continues to climb past the $500 million-mark, Washington’s Lottery officials today announced that the state has already seen a streak of big winners during the current jackpot run.
Since the last jackpot was hit on May 31, Powerball has produced more than 293,000 prizes for winners across the state totaling more than $3.5 million. These include 10 large prizes ranging from $50,000 to $1 million, including eight won in the month of August alone. Of the 10 big prizes, there were seven worth $50,000, one worth $100,000, one worth $500,000, and one worth $1 million. A complete list of prize winners from each drawing can be found here.
The retailers that sold each winning ticket were:
- June 7, 2025 Drawing – One $50,000 prize (included the Double Play add-on)
- Seafood City Supermarket located at 1368 Southcenter Mall in Tukwila
- July 28, 2025 Drawing – One $500,000 prize
- Arco located at 20801 State Route 410 E in Bonney Lake
- August 4, 2025 Drawing – One $50,000 prize and one $100,000 prize
- $50,000 prize:
- Fred Meyer located at 800 NE Tenney Road in Vancouver
- $100,000 prize (included the Power Play add-on, which was 2x on draw night, turning the winner’s $50,000 into $100,000):
- Chevron located at 621 State Route 9 NE in Lake Stevens
- August 6, 2025 Drawing – One $50,000 prize
- Fred Meyer located at 1225 W Bakerview Road in Bellingham
- August 9, 2025 Drawing – Two $50,000 prizes
- Chevron located at 1900 NE 162nd Avenue in Vancouver
- H Mart located at 8720 S Tacoma Way in Lakewood
- August 11, 2025 Drawing – Two $50,000 prizes and one $1 million prize
- $50,000 prizes:
- Super 1 Foods located at 830 E 29th Avenue in Spokane
- Camas Mart located at 207 NE 3rd Avenue in Camas
- $1 million prize:
- 7-Eleven located at 9701 E Mill Plain Boulevard in Vancouver
The Powerball jackpot for tomorrow night’s drawing is currently valued at $526 million. Tickets are available for purchase at Washington’s Lottery retail locations throughout the state. Players can find Washington’s Lottery retail locations here.
The Powerball drawing will take place at 7:59 p.m. PT Wednesday, August 13. Powerball also offers several add-on features, including Double Play for $1, a second-chance drawing at 8:30 p.m. with the chance to win up to $10 million, and Power Play for $1, which offers players the opportunity to multiply their non-jackpot winnings based on the Power Play multiplier randomly chosen at draw time. Tickets for Powerball drawings are available until 6:45 p.m. PT on the day of the draw. Sales for the next drawing resume the same day at 6:46 p.m.
